Term 2 Week 3 2016 Reflection

On Monday I learnt how to write .0? in fractions for example, if you had .0426 then you first will see what column the 0 is in so tenths then carry on like that and if you were to do this example it would end up to be. 0 tenths, 4 hundredths, 2 thousandths and 6 tens of thousandths. Even know I was at home on Monday I still did some work on this on some scrape paper.

On Tuesday I learnt how to tell if there is a circuit going around a ball of energy or if the circuit can conduct metal, glass etc. For example we used a alien egg [fake egg] and we saw that the ball was going around in there body when they held both sides of the metal. We also found out that if you hold hands with as many people as you want from if  your toes are touching too your heads it still works but if there is on little fault like if someone lets go then the alien ball wont make a sound as well as a light flashing.

On Wednesday we had music camp and we all played as a band but we also had students from Cambridge Middle School and from Mata Mata Intermediate. I learnt lots during my time with them, we played lots of songs for the concert on Thursday and there were also lots of things we had to work on. At the rehearsal in front of many of the school on Wednesday we had a lot of things we still needed to work on as well as we all built more confidence because there were lots of people filling the stands.

On Thursday I learnt how to be brave when you are preforming and when to never let your instrument squeak because if it does then everyone will look at you even people from the band and the crowd. We all had fun playing our instruments as well as listening to everyone else playing there instruments.

On Friday I learnt how to make a little cylinder tea bang fly up into the air. First we had to empty the tea out of them but luckily the tea in the bags had gone off or else it would have been a waste. But we had to predict what would happen if you light the tea bag with a light in a different spot other than the top. We found out that the oxygen in the tea bag turning so hot it started to fly because of the oxygen burning and nearly none left to keep it on fire.
